acre campus in rural Ephrata, PA.

24 hours per / week.
Includes every other Saturday and Sunday.

Collects soiled laundry, handling it so as to prevent the spread of airborne bacteria.
Uses precautions in washing contaminated or isolation linen Distributes clean laundry in laundry carts Follows laundry procedures, sorting laundry items by category.
Washes daily.
Dries items properly according to the texture of the material.
Folds all laundry when it is properly dried.
Protects linens and clothing when laundering.
Cares for laundry equipment.
Assures that carts for the distribution of linen are spotlessly clean.
Washing machines, dryers and other laundry equipment are cleaned at least once weekly.
Employment Qualifications of Laundry Aide:
Must be able to follow simple oral directions.
Some laundry experience preferred.
Working knowledge of commercial laundry processes, equipment and procedures helpful.
Must support the mission and values of Fairmount Homes.
